The Board of Zoning Appeals is the source through which the community can address problems arising from administrative decisions with regard to zoning. The Gretna Board of Zoning Appeals hears appeals and makes decisions with regards to granting variances, in hardship cases, from the zoning ordinance.
The Board of Zoning Appeals consists of five (5) members that are appointed by the Pittsylvania County Circuit Court. Board members serve a term of five (5) years.
