The Town of Gretna Treasurer’s Office is responsible for maintaining all Town accounting records, payment of all Town bills, the investment of funds, preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and payroll. The Treasurer’s office is also responsible for the preparation and collection of water/sewer bills, taxes and business licenses. They also handle the sale of cemetery plots. Where to Pay
The Town of Gretna accepts payments in person or by mail at the above address. Payments are accepted in the form of cash, check, money order or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover). Credit card payments may be made by telephone during normal business hours by calling 434-656-6572. Payments that are postmarked on or before the due date will be considered timely. There is also a drop box located in the main entrance door of the Town Municipal Building.
